Ten Minutes

I stood still, barely moving. The clothespin pinching so tightly that I was trembling. I glanced over at the clock. How the hell could three minutes have only passed? Closing my eyes, I took a deep breath. Only seven more to go. I could do this. I clenched my fingers but kept them on top of my head where He had placed them.

“Not very comfortable it is?” He asked.

“No, Milord.”

“No. But I told you to meet me at the car, didn’t I?”

“Yes, Milord,” I whimpered.

“And how long did you make me wait outside of the restaurant?”

“Ten minutes, Milord.”

“Ten minutes. Seems like a long time now, doesn’t it?”

“Yes, Milord.”
