Let’s be honest, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with vanilla. In fact, most people find the scent comforting and the flavor delightful. In the BDSM world, Vanilla is also perfectly fine. For us, though, it means sexual/romantic activity lacking kinkiness. No “Sirs”, paddles, cuffs, hair pulling, blindfolds, or other accoutrements. It’s holding hands, kissing gently, slow (or not!) making love, flowers, candlelit dinners. It’s a thing of beauty and, in a world filled with kinkiness, sometimes, Vanilla is actually  the exotic.
