BDSM doesn’t have to involve ropes, chains, and cuffs. Sometimes, just a word is enough.
A long time ago I was mentally in a place where I simply could not stand even the sight of ropes, cuffs, or any other form of physical bondage. We worked our way back slowly. My husband, always creative, slowly and gently brought me back. At first, I wasn’t even willing to have him hold my wrists down. The only thing that didn’t send me screaming from the room was his voice.
A command. A word. A look. Lie down. Don’t move. Arms over your head. Stand in the corner until I say otherwise. So many submissives get wet – or hard – just thinking of such words. A Dominant who is truly loved and and respected doesn’t always need physical bondage. Don’t be disappointed, however, if your submissive doesn’t always follow your command. Self restraint, especially when your mind turns to mush, is very, very difficult. She has to process and control her own fears, judgements, thoughts, inclinations, and reflexes. In addition, she may well be subjected to exquisite sensations which cause shivering, trembles, shouts, stars, and trememdous pleasure. But, oh, the reprimands and rewards are simply divine.
