Milord has decided, and I have agreed, that this year we will absolutely celebrate Valentine’s day. Naturally, we will not be doing the pedestrian flowers, dinner, and vanilla sex after. No, for this day, I need to begin prepping for it now.

First, comes the shopping. Milord has already made the major purchase, but I need to do a bit of my own. I’m rather a crafty kinda person, so most of the items on his list I will be making by hand. Still, I’ll need supplies.

His list, which includes expectations as well as items:

a paddle with hearts

a flogger with falls ending with hearts

Ice toys (My choice)

A scrupulously clean anus (Milord will attend to this on February 13) but supplies such as mineral oil and castille soap must be available.)

DM room cleaned and prepared with items easily artfully displayed

Nipple weights

Collar and leash along with wrist and angle cuffs.

Silk rope and scarves

Ginger figs and slices (plural, so I’m not sure how many. Therefore I will prepare several in advance!)

I began by going to the grocery and buying organic ginger – a LARGE hand so that I can carve out at least three large figs, three smaller ones, and have lots of slices left over. Milord, I know, will not use ice internally, so I looked through the silicone ice cube trays and chose a large one meant for a giant ice ball in a glass of whiskey, some square ones, and slightly smaller round ones.

For the smaller round ones, I pressed a small funnel into the water before it froze, making a small divot for nipples. I’m not sure if he will use them for this purpose, but I had fun thinking about it at least!

I have lots of silk scarves, so I scattered them around the bed and dresser and lamps of the DM room. I restocked some of our frayed rope, laying that out on top of the dresser.

I have my nipples pierced now, so I wasn’t sure what type of weights he wanted, so I picked up some magnetic ones and once that could easily hook onto my heart shaped nipple guards or from a chain he he chooses to connect my rings.

I picked up some heavy suede as well along with buckles and rings to make some new ankle and matching wrist cuffs. These will hold me securely but won’t bruise in any way.

I also bought some black and red leather and will be working on turning that into a flogger with pretty red hearts on the end of each of the six falls.

We already have a pretty (and powerful!) wooden paddle with three hearts cut out of it.
